The new Carvin SB4000 bass sports a retro design with contemporary features from Carvin's Custom Shop. It's sleek styling and engineering make the SB4000 extremely comfortable to play, and the new J99A Alnico single-coil pickups pack all the punch a bassist needs. The standard body wood is alder, and the neck is Eastern hardrock maple with an ebony fingerboard and white dot inlays. Standard electronics consist of a pair of J99A Alnico single-coils with passive module; the SB4000 can be upgraded to active electronics.
