The Manne Vibrabass “Malaman model” is an instrument engeeeneered with famous italian bass player Federico Malaman to get a sound very similar to doublebass but with a personal character and great playability. Has a 32″ scale, a special dumping system to recreate a specific sound envelope and an easy access to upper frets.It is a model born from the great experience of almost two decades of building the Acoustibass model, but with some fresh new developments and a more classic look.
The VibraBass Accoustic body is made in Sycamore, fully chambered and topped with figured Italian poplar burl. The bass is built with our recipe of a thin resin fretboard over a maple neck with hard beech laminate core.The pickups include a magnetic element placed in the round center plate at the neck position and a custom designed high-output piezo in our latest release of the Manne Piezo Bridge with updated and improved components and design, which together now make it truly state-of-the-art.Available in Fretted.
