The P-Nut III Signature Bass incorporates Afzelia wood for the back and Burl Blackwood for the top. A Purpleheart laminate in the middle separates the two. All of these exotic woods are select tone woods with distinct surface features. Available exclusively as 5-string the P-Nut III bass has a matched headstock made out of Burl-Blackwood veneer complete with the iconic W-inlay. The neck is Ovangkol and its 24-fret Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard is adorned with spiral-inlays. The neck-thru design employs the "hidden neck" construction common to all Streamer Stage II basses.
The powerful pickups are Seymour Duncan Basslines. A skew-mounted J-type in the neck position sits face-to-face with an MM-style humbucker in the bridge position. The active 3-band EQ is Basslines as well; the layout of the controls corresponds to the standard version of the Streamer Stage II. Only available as 5-string
