Aleš Vychodil is an founder and made brand AV BASSES from Czech Republic, in the early 1990s, he active bassist in a Zlin Band and played with a ‘PJ’ pickup configuration and this bass serving quite well , but he dont satisfied, then he started looking for another brand of bass so his playing could improve would better , but he couldn't find a mass-produced bass appropriate. Afterwards in 1999 as hobby he decided to build custom bass guitar with brand AV BASSES and in 2004 he received an order to make instruments for an American store selling boutique basses , since 2005 there have been many owners of AV BASSES around the world.
AV1 5 string custom bass have features with modern sound, AA flamed maple fingerboard with 33" scale, Unique Spalted Maple top, Hipshot black hardware with strings thru body, Nordstrand ® active electronics, Custom Nordstrand ® Dualcoil AlNiCo 3 pickups , Smooth Satin matt finish with glossy fingerboard finish. AV BASSES AV1 avalaible in freted or fretless 4,5,6,7 string.
